Typed by Kerri...

"Made it through surgery. Now in recovery and in my very own room with a view. Just had my first taste of jello (red). It tastes like crap."

Dori's in quite a bit of pain, but surgery went well. The nurse just bumped up her dose of pain meds. She's getting a bit sleepy, and can't quite type you can come back tomorrow for a "real" update. Just know that she's surrounded by love and is thankful for all of you.

  1. Thanks Kerri for keeping us updated - hugs to all of you!!

  2. Dori-

I happened upon your site through a fb post by Scott Barkley (an old college coworker of mine). I am grateful to you for you open and honest conversation about your journey and wanted to share with you a friend of mine's blog: She is an amazing woman who you may want to connect with (or not!). Her site is really great and she is a great person to share with, talk with, whatever. Just a thought.

I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Best of luck and fight like hell!

  3. hoping your morning is going smoothly, dori. thinking of you and praying for you.

  4. I came across your blog via Patti Ramos and Facebook. I walked my Grandmother down the path of 3 rounds of breast cancer. Your blog is amazing. Thank you for sharing such a personal time
