Typed by Kerri...

"Made it through surgery. Now in recovery and in my very own room with a view. Just had my first taste of jello (red). It tastes like crap."

...

Dori's in quite a bit of pain, but surgery went well. The nurse just bumped up her dose of pain meds. She's getting a bit sleepy, and can't quite type yet...so you can come back tomorrow for a "real" update. Just know that she's surrounded by love and is thankful for all of you.

  2. Dori-

I happened upon your site through a fb post by Scott Barkley (an old college coworker of mine). I am grateful to you for you open and honest conversation about your journey and wanted to share with you a friend of mine's blog: www.chemobabe.com She is an amazing woman who you may want to connect with (or not!). Her site is really great and she is a great person to share with, talk with, whatever. Just a thought.

I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Best of luck and fight like hell!
